A terrible thunderstorm rages in New Havana. The nighttime lights of the lively city reflect off the looming clouds above. Light races across the sky as heavy rain pelts the metropolis below. Beneath all this, a soaked commotion occurs. Aquatica, New Havana’s slightly well-known superheroine, is hard at work. Wearing her indigo colored uniform, she chases after two assailants on foot. Despite her heavy pregnancy, Aquatica’s been hard at work improving her physique and manages to keep the assailants in her sight.

Two men race ahead of Aquatica, the one is holding an expensive purse, pilfered off a debutante. The carries a simple knife and both know they are no match for Aquatica. Hence, they flee. Each mighty footstep crashes on the flooded concrete; the rain and thunder drown out the sound. Aquatica realizes she cannot catch them at this pace, so she summons the water around her feet and blasts herself forward. Seeing this, the men duck down a dark alleyway. With no concern for whether this could be an ambush or not, Aquatica turns and races on.

“Stupid bitch!” The one crook says as he comes out of the shadows and attacks to backhand Aquatica with all his might. Seeing this, the pregnant maiden slides back, falling on a rolling wave of water. This wave carries her underneath the criminal’s attack.

“Nice try!” Aquatica shouts as she leaps to her feet and fires a singles stream of water from her left hand, smacking the criminal in the face, knocking him out cold. She then turns to see the final assailant, now holding both the knife and the purse.

“All this t-trouble for a fucking purse.” Aquatica moans aloud to the final mugger, who is standing, shaking with fear at the sight before him. She puts both hands on her hips and walks forward confidently.

“Y-you have no idea what you’re in for lady.” The man says. This makes Aquatica pause.

“What could he mean by that?” She ponders but before long the man charges, slashing his knife towards Aquatica.

“Woah, stop!” Aquatica shouts as the man’s blade slices first towards her face then back. His blade slides ever so slightly across Aquatica’s right shoulder, drawing blood and eliciting a pained expression from the mother-to-be.

“Gah! Ahh!” Aquatica grunts first at the injury then shouts defiantly as she charges forward. She leaps into the air on a jet of water and knees the knife-wielding, purse stealing man in the face, knocking him unconscious as well.

“There, take that. Dumb asses.” Aquatica snarls to herself as she holds her injured shoulder. Reaching into one of the pouches on her left thigh, she pulls out a large, square bandage and slaps it onto the knife wound. Aquatica then readjusts her maternity pants and her blue top before kneeling down and grabbing the purse.

“I…I should totally just take this for myself.” Aquatica begins to muse as she picks up the purse. Before standing up, she begins to weigh the pros and cons of such an action.

“I mean, the last time I did this we went on vacation with the money I ran off with…but like, I saw the mugging. I should just return it.” Aquatica says as she stands straight up. Holding the purse in her right hand, Aquatica looks up, rain pelting her face, and takes a deep breath.

“Ok Alice, let’s take this back to where it belongs.” Aquatica says, referring to herself by her given name. Wiping rain from her brow and readjusting her domino mask, she slowly makes her way out of the drenched alleyway. As she makes her way down the street, Alice puts no thought of who may see her; the rain is simply too heavy. The city is void of life. A slight opposite reflection of Aquatica, for she too, is involved in all sorts of watery business. But unlike the city, there is much life in Alice.

Her objective is to walk this luxurious purse, this symbol of a higher social standing than her, back to its owner. She had left her at a poorly lit street corner under a canopy only a block away. Still catching her breath, Alice eventually arrives. She sees the woman, short, petite, wearing a black business dress with a black wide primed hat. Everything on her was black for that matter. Her high heels, her gloves, her undershirt, all black. Even her stockings were black. Coming up to the debutante, Alice holds out the purse.

“H-hey, I got this back for you. Here.” Alice says through steady breathing. The girl smiles in return and reaches out for the purse. She lifts her face up just enough for her emerald eyes to meet Alice’s hazel eyes. The young woman smirks. Her lips are covered in ruby red lipstick and her skin is extremely pale.

“Aw, you’re such a doll. I should reward you for your…kind service.” The woman replies to Alice with a cold demeanor. This causes Alice to raise her left eyebrow in slight bewilderment. Alice puts her left hand on her hip and rests her right across her belly, rubbing an active spot. This takes Alice’s attention off the girl for just a moment and when she turns to meet the girl’s gaze again, she’s greeted with a small, tiny pistol pointed at her face.

“Turn around, now.” The cold voice of the woman echoes out. Alice freezes and complies, her hands presses hard against her thighs. Alice begins to tremble at the feeling of the small firearm pressing against her lower back.

“Aw shit, what is this?! W-was I set up…that…that thug knew it!” Alice says to herself as she recalls one of the criminal’s cryptic messages from earlier. The emerald eyed female then waves out with her left hand, the gun still in her right, signaling a vehicle to come. From one of the dark, damp alleyways a reflective, jet black BMW with massive amounts of silver chrome drifts out and over towards the two women.

“Now…get in.” The woman says as she reaches over, opens the rear door of the luxurious vehicle. Alice hesitates for a moment, resulting in the girl flicking the gun at Alice. With a deep breath, Alice kneels down to crawl into the car but again, pauses.

“I can just take her out right now.” Alice says to herself as she pauses but before she can do anything, the woman kicks Alice in the left hip, forcing her to tumble into the car. Climbing in after Alice, the debutante slams the door. Inside the vehicle is spacious, almost limousine like.  Dim lights line the interior of the car, providing some visibility. There are two rows of seats, one along the back, up against the trunk and one opposite of it, up against the driver’s area. Alice stumbles into this area and is quickly herded up against the trunk while her captor sits down behind the driver.

“Good, good, start driving.” The gun wielding woman says to the driver, who complies. Reaching for a towel, the woman dries herself off before tossing it to the drenched Alice.

“Oh thank you, I wouldn’t want to get your nice leather seats wet.” Alice replies as she simply throws the towel back at the woman.

“Oh wait, fuck you.” Alice then adds defiantly refusing to dry herself.

“Meh, it’s ok. Money fixes everything and I assure you, I have no shortage of money.” The woman says with a smile. She then lowers her gun and removes her wide primed hat, revealing her long, curly silver hair. She shakes her head a bit, letting her voluminous curls bounce out naturally. Picking the gun back up and pointing it again at Alice, the woman leans forward.

“So, let’s continue our discussion. You rudely hung up on me last time…after you battered my poor, poor Beta.” The woman says, revealing who she is.

“You…Yvonna.” Alice responds as she attempts to fold her arms and legs in a contemptuous manner. However, her large belly prevents her from folding her legs adequately, forcing her to give up on that gesture. Irritated, Alice readjusts her domino mask and leaves her folded arms to rest atop her pregnant belly. She slams her boots down once loudly, showing more overt contempt for Yvonna.

“Yes, me. You were surprisingly easy to capture. All I did was pay two street punks a couple hundred bucks and you were baited and reeled in like a fish.” Yvonna says with a smile, her ruby lips curling slightly. Alice’s patience begins to wear thin from the get go, completely unwilling to deal with Yvonna. Unfolding her arms, she pulls her left across the top of her belly while her right taps on the side of her belly. Her fingers strum along the warm flesh of her own pregnant belly, giving away her impatience.

“You do know I can just leave anytime I want, right? You don’t really have control of this situation.” Alice remarks coldly, continuing to tap on her belly impatiently. As she does, her child inside taps back, gently against its mother’s skin.

“Bullshit, I have the gun; you’re not going anywhere, tubby.” Yvonna says, oblivious to the superheroine’s threat as she is confident in her trap.

“Gr…look you skinny twig, I could literally crush you right now if I wanted, just with my size, so don’t test me. What do you want?” Alice shouts back, offended at the insult to her physique.

“I want your weapon…whatever you have there. How do you have those powers? Explain then hand over whatever causes them!” Yvonna says before slamming her free left fist down on the leather seats. Alice simply snarls and leans back, digging into the seats. She then looks out the tinted windows of the luxury vehicle; she notices they are not going very fast because of the rain. She then notices Yvonna’s gun as water on it. This makes Alice smile and unfold her arms.

“I’m not sure what you’re talking about. I don’t have a weapon; I just ‘do’ this stuff.” Alice says as she outstretches her arms over the seats and spreads her legs and juts her pregnant belly outward a bit. Yvonna sees this and her eyes flicker down to Alice’s belly. Alice sees this and correctly deduces that Yvonna is perturbed by Alice’s condition.

“T-then how do you do it? Look, how about we cut a deal…?” Yvonna says, pulling her eyes away from Alice’s belly and up to meet the heroine’s own hazel eyes.

“What kind of deal?” Alice replies, raising her eyebrows with dangerous curiosity.
“Aquatica…yes, that’s the name you go by, correct?” Yvonna asks before continuing. Alice simply replies with a slow nod of confirmation and a stiff lip.

“Yes, well, as you know, I am Yvonna Strat and I own many, many companies. Unless you have been living under a rock for the past 10 years, I am the youngest billionaire currently alive and I see a major ‘business’ opportunity in you and your powers.” Yvonna begins to divulge information.

“I could make you exceptionally rich if only you’d comply. Think of it, I could give you enough money to pay for yourself and a whole legion of illegitimate anchor-babies.” Yvonna continues with her smugness.

“Ok, fuck you. I was born in the US and for the record, Florida was settled by the Spanish first, so your German ass can go to Hell.” Alice shouts in anger at Yvonna’s words. Yvonna jumps a bit and pulls the gun back, pointing it at Alice again.

“And furthermore, you don’t know that my child is illegitimate! That’s rude to imply.” Alice says, pulling her arms back together in contempt.

“Please child, no one gets married anymore. That trend died hard in 2012, don’t play stupid with me.” Yvonna responds, completely overriding Alice’s attempt to defend herself. Alice turns red faced with embarrassment and anger at this insult.

“So, what do you say, join me and I will make you rich.” Yvonna adds, trying to move the conversation along.

“W-why do you want these powers? What do you plan to do with it?” Alice asks calmly, trying to discern Yvonna’s intentions. Alice sits there rigid, like stone with her arms once again folded above her belly. Despite her own stillness, her child continues to roll around within her. Alice is unfazed. She is used to it by now.

“As you know, a few years ago the water crisis of the world reached a climax and many countries are now forced to input clean drinking water from other countries. The US is one of them and I own one of those companies. With your powers, I could put every competitor out of business in a second.” Yvonna states boldly with a tooth smile, her eyes lighting up with excitement.

“There’s more to it than that…you’re not good at interrogation. You’re also very quick to give out information.” Alice says with a smirk. This irritates Yvonna. Turning a flustered shade of red, Yvonna’s anger begins to churn.

“If I remember correct, you were investigated for weapons dealing once.” Alice then says, moving the conversation towards her suspicions.

“So, you want to monopolize the commercial water market…but I am aware of the destructive power I possess…something you seem to have underestimated.” Alice says as she pulls her arms apart and puts both hands on her knees. Sweat rolls down Yvonna’s cheek. Her anger turns to anxiety, unsure of what Aquatica is up to.

“You saw what I did to your cyborg lackey, didn’t you?” Alice then adds.

“I-I saw plenty! Beta recorded both your encounters! I have everything on you, height, weight, supposed age…and I’ve seen what you’re capable of.” Yvonna replies angrily.

“I’d make a joke and say these powers are just the tip of the iceberg but I won’t. Instead, I will simply tell you one last time. You are not in control of this situation.” Alice addresses Yvonna coldly, lowering her head and squinting her hazel eyes just enough to provoke a response from Yvonna.

“That’s enough! You give me what I want or…or I will put a bullet in your chest!” Yvonna says as she lunges forward and pressed the gun against Alice’s chest. The cold metal pushes aside her water drop necklace and rests on her sternum. Raising her eyebrows in mild surprise, Alice turns pale. Collecting herself, she begins to utter a reply.

“First, if you shoot me, you’ll lose your opportunity. Second, you’re right next to…well, you are next to something that may actually be the cause of my powers.” Alice says as she looks down at her belly, Yvonna’s eyes follow and come to rest on Alice’s midsection. Yvonna’s own tiny body is up against Alice’s.

“G-gross.” Yvonna says, disgusted at having rubbed up against Alice’s pregnant belly.

“Don’t like pregnancy, do you? I don’t blame you. It’s got some dreadful parts but I don’t think you’ll ever have to worry about it.” Alice states with a light chuckle.

“W-what do you mean?” Yvonna asks, confused by Alice’s statement.

“Well, no man would ever want to get with a vile troll with you so you don’t need to be worried about getting knocked up.” Alice answers, continuing her laughter. Angered again, Yvonna brings the gun back up to Alice’s chest and presses the cold, wet metal against Alice’s flesh.

“Oh and third, you shouldn’t have gotten so…close.” Alice says as she looks down at the pistol. Yvonna hesitates for a moment before looking down. As she does, a sudden white flash occurs. Yvonna stumbles back and falls onto the floor of the car. Pulling the gun close to herself, she realizes it has been frozen over entirely.

“The gun being wet made it easy to begin with but you getting sooo close made it all the easier to flash freeze it.” Aquatica says as she leans down towards where Yvonna is with a smile. Reaching out with her right hand, she grabs Yvonna’s and holds tight. She then falls on Yvonna, pressing her left hand down on Yvonna’s left shoulder, pinning her in a crisscrossed motion.

“Ah, stop, stop!” Yvonna screams, catching her driver’s attention.

“Miss Strat, hold on.” The driver shouts as he stops the car but before he can do anything, Aquatica lifts her left hand over her right arm, which continues to grip Yvonna’s hand tightly.

“Nope.” Aquatica says with a grin before firing a small, marble-sized orb of ice from her left pointer finger. It strikes the driver right in the head, knocking him out. He slumps over onto the steering wheel, blasting the horn. Annoyed by this, Alice summons a small ring of water around the downed driver and pulls him off the steering wheel, ending the terrible horn.

“Now, where was I…?” Aquatica then says as she turns back to Yvonna. Condensation creeps out from Alice’s right hand and quickly turns to frost, that in turn, climbs onto Yvonna’s hand.

“Ah!” Yvonna screams at the sudden icy pain, releasing the gun from her grip. Aquatica grabs the gun with her right hand and presses pulls her left arm off of Yvonna’s pinned, left shoulder. Kneeling straight up, her belly hanging over Yvonna, Aquatica takes the gun and holds it tight.

“Watch this.” Aquatica says as she smiles towards Yvonna. Looking up at whatever Aquatica has planned, Yvonna feels helpless. Suddenly, water swirls into the gun’s barrel and through all the cracks and panels. It is torn asunder as Aquatica freezes the influx of water. The expanding ice obliterates the gun, its parts and bullets fall to the floor of the car.

“As I said, I am pretty aware of my powers. Imagine what I could do to a person. Your hand will be ok, just rub it a little.” Aquatica says as she then sits back on the seat and cleans off her hands. Pulling her umber hair back, she leans forward, her face and belly looming over the defeated Yvonna.

“B-bitch…you will not get away with this.” Yvonna threatens with her usual spiteful tone. Alice simply smiles and holds out her right arm, straight towards the passenger side, rear door. Opening her hand, stretching out her fingers, she pauses to address Yvonna.

“Look, leave me alone. I wouldn’t be able to live with myself if I had to work for a murderous, foul…moody bitch like you. I may not be the most moral person in the world…” Alice says, addressing Yvonna for a moment before stopping mid-sentence. She then fires a massive stream of water at the door from her right hand. It blows the passenger door right off. Pulling her arm back, Alice rests it on her belly. Her French manicured fingers strum along the course of her linea nigra, down to her azure belly ring.

“But I know your type; you’re just a rich girl who has had everything handed to you, not used to hearing no, and someone who has no real sense of right and wrong.” Alice assesses Yvonna’s personality rather accurately.

“Y-you have no idea who you’re messing with, child.” Yvonna proclaims as she crawls to the opposing seat.

“Oh please, I now know who you are and I could probably Google your address and pay you a visit anytime I please. You…on the other hand, have no idea who I am.” Aquatica says as she slides out of the car and back into the rain. Yvonna begins to stammer.

“Dammit…she’s right. I didn’t get her name or anything.” Yvonna thinks to herself, realizing she has failed to acquire any meaningful data on Aquatica.

“L-look, how about…” Yvonna says, reaching into the purse that started all this trouble and pulls out several US banknotes.

“Nope, sorry, not interested in your money. Besides, if I wanted, I could probably just rob a bank and get away with it. It’s not like it would be hard.” Aquatica says with a coy tone. Bending over at the waist, the pregnant heroine lumbers down, her belly hangs low, and her face is still in the car with Yvonna. Aquatica’s places her left hand atop the roof of the car to steady herself as she brings her right hand back into the vehicle.

“And…” Aquatica says as she makes a limp fist towards Yvonna. The debutante reels back, hard against the driver’s side, rear door, afraid of what is to come. Before she can open the door, Alice flicks her fingers and releases a sudden burst of icy cold water that splashes the entire interior of Yvonna’s vehicle. Drenched and now wailing in misery, Yvonna sulks as Aquatica laughs.

“Tell Beta I said hello.” Aquatica shouts as she backs away from the car and stands up straight. Yvonna continues to bellow at her defeat while Alice straights up and pulls her soaked clothing down. Forcing her top down across her belly as best she can and pulling her pants into a much more agreeable position along her wide hips, Aquatica then hastily retreats from the scene.

Running into a nearby alleyway, Aquatica blasts herself up to a rooftop and scans her surroundings, looking for a way back to her apartment. Yvonna finally ends her despicable pouting and manages to grab her cellphone from her purse. Picking up the phone, she makes a call, requesting a new vehicle to come pick her up. She then sits back up on the seat and falls over to the side.

“I can’t believe this. H-her powers seem to get stronger each time we confront her. Where did she get them from? C-could it actually be her baby? Wait, Beta’s data said she was 40 weeks pregnant. That was about a month ago…why hasn’t she given birth yet?” Yvonna muses before sitting up. Realizing that her last statement is beyond odd, she begins to ponder Aquatica’s condition more than her powers.

Leaving the scene, Aquatica wastes no time in returning to her apartment building. Landing on the fire escape, strolling down, she taps on the window a few times but no answer. Alice sighs and reaches into her right pouches on her thigh and pulls out her phone. Calling Rachel, she finally catches her roommate’s attention. After finally gaining admittance to her apartment, Alice runs to the bathroom. Peeling off the soaked, tight superheroine outfit from her flesh, Alice rings it out over the bathtub. As she does, water drips into the tub but torrents of steam rush out as Alice heats the water, evaporating it and rapidly drying her outfit. Opening the bathroom door she simply tosses them out onto the apartment rug. Rachel is quite used to this behavior now.

Alice then takes the time to shower. The warm waters cleanse her and remove the chill of the cold rain that bombarded her for the better part of the night. While under the cleansing waters, Alice removes her gold hoop earrings and then her blue orbed maternity belly ring. Standing beneath the water, Alice ponders Yvonna’s words. Lathering herself up with soapy suds, she cleans her pregnant body and moves on to wash her hair. As she rubs the white foam through the thick strands of hair she begins to speak aloud.

“Yvonna Strat. I must do a little more research on her. Someone with her resources might actually be able to find me. Though I doubt it, who would ever think to look for a superheroine in a retail giant?” Alice murmurs as she continues to clean herself.

“Though, I guess I stick out like a sore thumb. I mean, I wonder if anyone really pays that much attention to me…to us.” Alice continues, this time bringing her shampoo covered hands down to her pregnant belly. She rubs the bottom of her belly slightly, looking for her child’s position.

“It’s a good thing you stopped growing a few months ago. If you kept going and didn’t come out, I’d have like a 14 pound baby in me by now!” Alice gawks as she steps back under the spigot, flushing all the soap away. Turning off the spigot and reaching for a set of towels, which Alice quickly wraps around her hair and her wide hips, she exits the bathroom to have an audience with Rachel.

“Yo, Rachel. I need your help with something.” Alice says as she rubs her hair furiously with the purple towel around her hair. Rachel is sitting at the table by the kitchen window, drinking a glass of iced tea and reading one of her text books. Alice walks over and throws herself down in one of the free chairs.

“Yeah, what’s up? You weren’t out very long. What happened to your shoulder?” The ginger Rachel says as she folds her book and turns to face her friend.

“Don't worry about it. It's just a cut but I guess the rain kept just about everyone indoors. However, you remember that Yvonna Strat lady who I talked to on that cyborg’s phone?” Alice says as she adjusts her lower towel to cover up her lady parts better.

“Yeah that weird billionaire, what about her?” Rachel responds.

“I totally ran into her. She paid some thugs to fake a purse snatching and lure me in. It worked but it really didn’t go as she planned.” Alice answers with a tinge of excitement in her voice. Rachel adjusts her thin, wire-framed glasses at this information.

“W-what did she want with you? I remember her being rather…violent, or at least using nasty words with you.” Rachel remarks as she recalls Alice and Yvonna’s first interaction.

“She wants my powers. At first she demanded I hand over whatever ‘weapon’ I have that allows me to do this.” The heavily pregnant Alice says. As she says this, she twirls a ring of water in the air a few times before evaporating it.

“She said she wanted it put all the bottled water companies out of business. Or something like that.” Alice adds.

“No doubt she wants to take advantage of those countries that have to import water constantly.” Rachel remarks.

“I think there’s more to it. Remember how back in 2017 Saudi Arabia tore itself apart after no one would sell water to the corrupt kingdom.” Alice says, referencing a not too distant historical event.

“Ironic that they charged so much for oil and the second they needed water, everyone was willing to return the favor.” Rachel says, recalling the violent event.

“Yeah, so water is important. I have a feeling if a single aristocrat-capitalist like Yvonna had that much water and could solve all of the world’s water issues, she would hoard it for herself and use it as a bargaining chip in some stupid scheme to make even more money.” Alice continues.

“But…remember those accusations of weapons dealing. Dealing US made firearms to China, selling US arms into third world countries, replacing old Soviet weapons far too old to be used in modern war…” Alice says, bringing up a more sinister side to Yvonna’s corporate life.

“Yeah, the government wasn’t too happy about old M-16s getting into the hands of Chechen and Uighur terrorists.” Rachel replies.

“See, I have a feeling she’d try to turn my power into a weapon...even more than I already have.” Alice then says with a sullen tone. She then places both her hands atop her pregnant belly and cups them. A jet of water shoots up then begins to freeze; she grasps the end of the frozen pillar with both hands. It then shifts into the shape of a jagged sword before Alice shatters it. The falling shards of ice all evaporate before even a second passes.

“Holy shit, I didn’t know you could do that!” Rachel screams as she jumps out of her chair. After falling to the floor in awe at Alice’s developing powers, Rachel scuttles over to continue their conversation.

“Imagine what someone could do with this power…tidal waves, tsunamis, maybe even hurricanes.” Alice says, looking down at Rachel with heavy eyes.

“Relax. I doubt your powers are on that level. Putting out a burning building is one thing; a civilization leveling tsunami is another.” Rachel comforts her friend as she climbs up to her chair.

“I sure hope you’re right.” Alice whispers back to Rachel. Removing the towel from her hair, Alice waves her hand over the damp hair, drying it a bit more with her powers.

“You never dry it all the way, do you?” Rachel asks, watching Alice evaporate the water that soaks her hair still.

“No, it’ll damage my hair. Gotta look good for the guys.” Alice says with a smile.

“But anyways, so we need to do some research about the Yvonna lady and make sure she never finds us here.” Alice then says as she stands up and reties her lower towel around her pregnant frame.

“I agree. Someone with her resources looking for someone in your condition might be an easier task then we think.” Rachel replies, standing alongside Alice.

“I mean, if anyone actually cares that much and pays attention, they’d notice that I haven’t gotten any bigger in a few weeks and still have this inside me.” Alice moans as she leans her head back and throws the purple towel that was around her hair to the floor.

“I really don’t think anyone notices. I mean, your managers are too busy dealing with theft and their own paychecks to care.” Rachel remarks.

“Actually, Tom asked me when I was going on maternity leave because he didn’t want me to pop in the store. I bet it would lower our health code.” Alice says with a bit of playfulness in her voice, referencing her direct superior at work.

“I think you’ll be fine. We need to get to sleep; we both work in the morning. When we get out of work, we’ll do some research on this Yvonna Strat and her cyborg.” Rachel responds to Alice’s words with a laugh. Rachel kneels down and picks up Alice’s towel for her, handing to her. After this the two girls nod at these plans and move to their own rooms. Entering her room, Alice hurls the towels into the clothes hamper by her door and walks over to her dresser. Standing over it, naked, she pulls out a white set of panties and a black sports bra. Throwing these on, Alice then crawls into her comfy bed. As she drifts to sleep, she thinks of her powers.

“Maybe…maybe I should start a bottled water company. No, no, what if I lose my powers when I have this baby? The company would collapse.” Alice ponders as she rolls onto her back. Fluffing up her pillows to form a slight incline, Alice looks down at her belly, which is jutting through the light sheet that rests over Alice.

“Oh well, enough worrying, time to sleep.” Alice says to herself. With these words, she rolls onto her right side and begins to fall asleep.
So this is the next installment of my Aquatica/Alice stories. In this one, we have Alice meeting our main villain, Yvonna Strat, the rich corporate-capitalist, possible sociopath who has a history of illegal arms dealing and various other ventures. There's not much to this one other than raw plot and development. Not a whole lot of action. However, it also does highlight a few things I'm trying to convey about Alice, such as the prolonged pregnancy that is halted in time basically. Also the fact that no one appears to know how far along she is or cares. Those two things are running gags I'm trying to set up. Read this and let me know what you guys think. Sorry it's a little lengthy.

Heh heh, wow. Yvonna Strat sure is slow on trying to be overpowering Alice, because no matter how matter money or people she gets, she just keep on losing.
